FAQ — Osho Darshan

Question 1

What makes Osho Darshan attars different from regular perfumes?

Accepted Answer

Our attars are pure, alcohol-free botanical concentrates — crafted the ancient way, through steam distillation and cold enfleurage. No synthetic fixatives, no alcohol, no shortcuts. Each fragrance is a living essence that evolves on your skin, deepening over hours rather than fading.

Question 2

Are your fragrances 100% natural?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Every ingredient is plant-derived — flowers, resins, roots, woods, and sacred herbs. We use no synthetic aroma chemicals, no parabens, and no alcohol. What you receive is pure botanical intelligence in a bottle.

Question 3

How long does the fragrance last on skin?

Accepted Answer

Our attars are highly concentrated. A single drop applied to pulse points — wrists, neck, inner elbow — can last 8 to 12 hours. The Anant Akash tier, being the most refined, often lingers even longer, becoming a subtle second skin.

Question 4

What are the three tiers — Pehli Kiran, Dhyan Sutra, Anant Akash?

Accepted Answer

They represent a spiritual journey. Pehli Kiran (First Ray) is the awakening — bright, floral, accessible. Dhyan Sutra (Thread of Meditation) is the deepening — earthy, resinous, contemplative. Anant Akash (Infinite Sky) is the dissolution — rare, transcendent, beyond words. Each tier is a different quality of silence.

Question 5

How long does delivery take?

Accepted Answer

Within India, orders are dispatched within 2 business days and typically arrive in 4–7 business days depending on your location. Remote areas may take up to 10 days. You will receive a tracking number once your order is shipped.

Question 6

Do you offer free shipping?

Accepted Answer

Yes — free shipping is available on orders above a certain value. The current threshold is shown on our shop page. We believe the fragrance should reach you without barriers.

Question 7

Do you ship internationally?

Accepted Answer

We currently ship within India. International shipping is being arranged with care — we want to ensure the attars travel safely and arrive in perfect condition. Join our community to be notified when international shipping opens.

Question 8

Can I change or cancel my order after placing it?

Accepted Answer

Orders can be modified or cancelled within 12 hours of placement. After that, they enter our dispatch process. Please reach out via the chat widget or contact page immediately if you need to make a change.

Question 9

How should I apply attar?

Accepted Answer

Apply one or two drops directly to warm pulse points — wrists, neck, behind the ears, inner elbows. Do not rub; let the skin absorb naturally. The warmth of your body activates the fragrance. Less is more — these are concentrated essences.

Question 10

How should I store my attar?

Accepted Answer

Keep the bottle away from direct sunlight, heat, and humidity. A cool, dark drawer or cabinet is ideal. Properly stored, our attars retain their potency for years — some deepening beautifully with age, like a fine wine.

Question 11

Are your attars safe for sensitive skin?

Accepted Answer

Our attars are pure botanicals with no synthetic irritants. However, as with any concentrated natural essence, we recommend a patch test on the inner wrist before full application. If you have known botanical allergies, please review the ingredient list on the product page or ask us via chat.

Question 12

What is your return policy?

Accepted Answer

We accept returns within 7 days of delivery if the product is unused and in its original sealed condition. Due to the intimate nature of fragrance, opened bottles cannot be returned unless there is a quality defect. Please contact us with your order details and we will guide you through the process.

Question 13

What if I receive a damaged or incorrect product?

Accepted Answer

We take great care in packaging, but if something arrives damaged or incorrect, please photograph it and contact us within 48 hours of delivery. We will arrange a replacement or full refund — no questions asked. Your trust is sacred to us.

Question 14

What is the connection to Osho's teachings?

Accepted Answer

Osho spoke of fragrance as a metaphor for the awakened being — one who gives without holding, who spreads without effort, who is simply what they are. Our brand is inspired by this vision: that a true fragrance, like a true seeker, needs no performance. It simply is.

Question 15

What is the Seva mission?

Accepted Answer

A portion of every purchase supports our Seva programmes — spreading Osho's teachings, supporting artisan attar-makers in traditional craft communities, and funding meditation retreats for those who cannot afford them. When you buy from us, you participate in something larger than a transaction.
